I understand that many people are traveling and that this break is a time for family. Therefore, there is no homework over Thanksgiving Break. If you would like for your child to spend time on academics, I suggest reading, ST Math, practicing multiplication facts, or getting a head start on research for an upcoming research project.

Reading at least 20 minutes every day is crucial! Students will have some homework every day, and I will update this section and upload documents weekly.
On most days, students will read and have one additional assignment.
Write 2 paragraphs explaining 3 new things learned during genius day.

You can always see student grades on Parent Portal! The link is attached on the Home page of this website. This class follows CPS grading protocol.
CPS report cards are sent out per quarter with progress reports in between, and IB report cards are sent out twice a year.

A=90%-100% 30%: Summative Assessments (Tests)
B=80%-89% 40%: Formative Assessments (Quizzes)
C=70%-79% 20%: Skill Building (Class Assignments)
D=60%-69% 10%: Work Habits
